Oliver Meidl, MBA MAS, is an IT project & program manager and serves as an honorary deacon. The father of three has authored several books.   
   
Grown up in Eisenstadt, Austria, after high school graduation, Oliver moved to Vienna and married Jennifer Anno from Pennsylvania. They have three wonderful children who have been raised bilingually. Oliver holds academic degrees in Management of Information and Business Technologies (MAS) and in General Management (MBA) from the University of Klagenfurt, Austria, as well as certifications in Project Management, in Product Management and in Global Leadership, the latter with Davenport University, Michigan. The graduate of the Vienna Theology Courses as well as qualified Bible study group leader and spiritual accompanier volunteers in his local parish and participated in a multi-year Deacon formation program.
 
Throughout his professional career, he gained international experience from assignments, workshops, and lectures in the United States, Europe, and Asia. For more than twenty years, he is with one of the world’s leading direct selling companies, where he, among others, excelled as an IT project manager of order management system implementations in Austria and Switzerland and led technical preparations for the Euro currency introduction in eleven markets. As a regional program manager for Europe and Russia, he was responsible for an ERP system implementation in thirty-one countries.

Next to that, he has authored reference literature about global web design with a special focus on cultural diversity which was cited in scientific papers, articles and books. His book “不懂 Bu Dong – When Strange Things Become Familiar” offers very personal insight into collected findings from his exchanges with people of different cultures. His book “So Long – Encouraging Messages for Change Sceptics” is a journey into practised change management and a motivation to break new ground. His new book “Be Strong! When we are weak, we find real strength” explores the strengthening power of faith in times of crisis.
